Effective June 26, 2026. The rules for using Plume & Ash.
1. Acceptance & eligibility
By using Plume & Ash you agree to these Terms. The app is intended only for adults 21 years of age or older; by using it you confirm you meet that age requirement and are of legal age to purchase and use tobacco products in your jurisdiction. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What the service is
Plume & Ash is a private, personal inventory and tasting journal for adult cigar enthusiasts. Catalog details, storage and resting guidance, pairings, and recommendations are informational estimates compiled from public data and personal experience. They are not medical, legal, or professional advice.
3. No sales, trades, or shipping
Plume & Ash does not sell, ship, broker, or facilitate the sale, trade, or exchange of tobacco products. It is an informational inventory and tasting journal only. Any purchase, sale, trade, or shipment of cigars is solely between the parties involved, who are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
4. Your account & content
You are responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of the information you enter. You retain ownership of your humidor data, tasting notes, ratings, and photos. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store and display that content back to you (and to anyone you later explicitly choose to share an item with).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, to promote tobacco use to minors, to misrepresent your age, to upload content you do not have the rights to, or to scrape, resell, or bulk-extract the catalog. You must be 21+ to keep an account.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Tobacco use is dangerous (see the health warning). To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or from any purchase, sale, trade, or use of tobacco products.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing-law jurisdiction — confirm with counsel before public launch], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts located there, except where applicable law gives you the right to your local courts. 8. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms or the app over time; continued use after an update means you accept the change. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time, and we may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
